Beejeebers, my quilting bee, has started up again for 2013. Woo hoo! I've very excited that we're going again. I really enjoyed working on everyone's block last year and look forward to having fun again this year.
For my block, I decided to requests blocks inspired by crazy mom quilt's birch trees quilt. I asked for solids in the red-pink-violet range with white-grays as my neutral solid. The inside bits are pieced scraps that run on the fabric. The above is one of the blocks I made. I asked for 16" finished blocks with a solid for the background. Given the blocks showing up so far on the feed, I think this will turn out to be a lovely quilt!
